Mélanie Michel is a Junior Researcher and Lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien, specialized in urban sustainable development. With a diverse academic background in International Relations, Environmental Science, and Business Economics, she brings a multidisciplinary approach to her work. As part of the UCR research team, her primary focus revolves around identifying potential interrelations between various measures on ecological, technological, political, economic, and sociocultural levels. Here, she employs an intersectional approach to evaluate how parks and other climate adaptation and mitigation strategies strengthen urban resilience, as well as their contributions to social cohesion, economic sustainability, and technological advancement, among others.
