Sanne Hieltjes is the president of the International Association of Municipal Engineering (IFME), board member of the Royal Association Stadswerk the Netherlands and team manager at the municipality of Rotterdam.  IFME is a global organisation dedicated to promoting and improving the practice of municipal engineering and public works. It serves as a network for municipal engineers, public professional workers, and related sectors, facilitating the exchange of knowledge, best practices and innovative solutions for the efficient management and development of municipal infrastructures and services.
