Petra Hongell joined the United Nations in 2012. A seasoned, inspirational conference moderator, she will be hosting the Future Green City Congress’ cinema sessions with panel discussions on 24 and 25 September, which also include a special WHO Health For All Film Festival (HAFF) session with selected short films on urban health. Having lived in Finland, Senegal, Belgium and Denmark, she’s a strong believer in global solutions and community impact through arts and film. Passionate about climate and sustainable and innovative urban solutions for improved health and well-being, she currently works as Communications Officer at WHO’s Regional Office for Europe, supporting the 30+ WHO Country Offices of the WHO European Region with capacity building and strategic communications.
