MARCO TE BRÖMMELSTROET – RETHINKING OUR STREETS
Marco te Brömmelstroet (1980) is professor of Urban Mobility Futures at the University of Amsterdam and is known as the ‘cycling professor’. He is also chairman of the Urban Cycling Institute. The institute researches the relationships between cycling, society and cities and is committed to spreading Dutch knowledge about cycling and cycling infrastructure internationally. The international bestseller ‘The right of the fastest’, which he wrote together with Thalia Verkade, received the Brussels Prize in 2021 for the best journalistic book of the year.
