Joey Koning is a social planner and applied researcher at the lectorate ´Spatial Transformations – Water´ of the Hanze University of Applied Sciences. Within his research, he focuses on nature-based solutions, ecosystem services, as well as values ​​and perceptions of these measures. Joey has recently started PhD research at the University of Groningen, which revolves around the role of participation in developing nature-based solutions.
