Tim Geyer
Tim Geyer is manager urban landscapes at the Queanbeyan Palerang Regional Council of Australia, and deputy chair of World Urban Parks. Tim has a strong passion for urban parks, with over 45 years of experience in local government in Australia, in strategic, financial and operational management of the parks, urban landscapes and recreational services. Tim’s experiences including overseeing multi-discipline teams in the technical and operational delivery of parks and open space, playgrounds, indoor and outdoor sports facilities, aquatic centres, bushland management, tree management, showgrounds, museums and historical sites. Tim holds a bachelor’s degree in urban horticulture from the University Technology, Sydney, and is a certified international park professional.
