Maarten is a PhD student at the Spatial Planning Group of Radboud University. His research focuses on identifying the impact of green infrastructure on heat stress in urban neighbourhoods. He uses a mixed methods approach, combining the power of ‘big green data’ with local, contextual knowledge from residents themselves.
